Process

Creating a meaningful portrait experience goes beyond just taking photos—it’s about feeling comfortable, present, and seen. Here’s what to expect from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable process.

Step One

We will have a meeting before the session to connect and collaborate, creating a shared vision for your photos. During this time, we’ll exchange ideas, discuss your needs, and shape the creative direction together. From selecting the style and location to finalizing the date and outfits, every detail will be thoughtfully planned to bring your vision to life.

Step Two

The timing of the photo session will depend on the package you select, but no matter the duration, it will be a creative and uplifting experience. This is your moment to express yourself through art, and I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way, ensuring the process feels natural, enjoyable, and uniquely yours.

Step Three

The retouching process will take a minimum of two weeks to complete, with each image carefully refined to bring out its full potential. During this time, I’ll send you a few preview images so you can review and confirm the style you prefer. This ensures the final set perfectly reflects your vision, resulting in a collection of beautifully finished images.

FAQ’s

Have questions? Here are some common answers to help you feel prepared and confident before your session.

  • The goal is to create a space that you feel comfortable and like you can be yourself. It is important that you are open to being guided. I promise by the end of the session you will feel confident and uplifted. It is less about how you look like and more about how you feel.

  • Bring a bottle of water, a towel, up to three outfits and a willingness to be vulnerable and creative.

  • You will receive a couple of teaser photos beforehand to approve the artistic direction of the photographs. It will take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to produce the final photos. This will also depend on your active participation in providing timely feedback.

  • You will pay ½ the payment to hold your photoshoot date and you will pay the remaining 1/2 payment to receive the final edited photos.
